Safeguarding improvements
The ARV Group works to help you achieve improvements; in fact, we help you to establish the foundation for a “continuous improvement organization”: a cohesive network of management system, operational system and organizational culture and behavior.
Often, clients call on us to help them effect step-wise improvements, based on an assessment of their organization’s situation, targets and needs, and to draft and implement a high-level business case. This regularly involves performance management systems and continuous-improvement tools which, when applied consistently, prove their value time and again.
But many clients in need of ongoing improvements have started in the past with valid and important tools such as Lean, WCM/TPM, Six Sigma, etc… and then become bogged down by the constraints of “business as usual”.
The resulting demotivation and loss of faith on the part of (line) management and other key players poses a real threat to the prospect of continuous improvement. To say nothing of the time, energy and resources invested in a job half-done.
Along with you, we take a look at the effectiveness of existing improvement concepts and fine-tune such programs, when and where necessary. The resulting improvements are expressed in a measurable, positive change in your process- and cost-efficiency. And they are made to last by anchoring the desire for improvement in the hearts, minds and pocketbooks of every individual who takes part in the process.
This may involve returning people to and coaching them in the roles in which they function best. It may also involve a return to establishing and safeguarding the conditions for top performance, rather than racing from one contingency to the next.
