nailing down the business case
During this assessment period, in cooperation with management, we identify and prioritize controllable losses (loss assessment, value stream mapping) and determine the applicable benchmarks and best practices, in order to arrive at a master plan, This “roadmap” includes an assessment of which improvement and coaching tools can best be applied where and when. The result: a plan of improvement that achieves the optimum balance between results-oriented implementation and the establishment of a true and lasting continuous-improvement organization.
- A good, hard look is taken at the factors relevant to the desired improvements, such as logistics, waste management, maintenance, production efficiency and the roles of key players within your organization. The business case is validated, the site organization mobilized and a plan is set up for the implementation of step-wise and/or (next-generation) continuous improvement - including the way in which our work will be carried out and invoiced (see "The Value-Based Proposition").
- An inventory of potential savings is submitted to the client. On the basis of this inventory, the client chooses priorities, and the definitive business case is established.
